myARwin is an application that supports patients with a rare hematological disease in self-injection and drug administration using an IV wing needle.
With the help of this application, it is possible to continue familiarization with self-injection at home, which was started in the clinic.myArwin contains 5 sections:- Self-injection virtual practice using augmented reality (AR).- Self-injecting with video guidance- Handy tips and other help, as well as problem solving- Breathing and relaxation exercises- Optional robot trainer and testmyARwin has been created in cooperation with Nordic hematologistswith nurses, patients, caregivers and patient organizations and was developed by Takeda.This application does not collect or store any personal information.
Users do not need to register an account to use the app.
Thus, users remain completely anonymous.The myARwin app is designed for mobile phones (not recommended for tablets) and can be used on any smartphone running iOS 14.7+ or Android 7.0+ or ​​later.
When opening the application, users are asked for a code that can be found in the myARwin patient brochure or the healthcare staffs myARwin brochure.
